A couple new paintings I did for people for xmas presents. The top one from a photograph that looked completely different than the finished effort colour wise.

 Hey, cant blame me for my color theory!!  Ha. It turned out very well recieved though which any artist should tell you is generally a compliment as it takes a certain prowess with a paintbrush to make something familiar to the viewer when its something so personal (their home), yet tight enough that you can still reckognize the style as completely the artists.

And then a nice simple blue banger for my big brother. With this one I was trying to capture a swell on the idea of those ocean waves that keep the salt spray around us here. Their always knocking in with the storm surge style.
